Credit-Based Evaluation System

At Yamani College, our three-year Diploma in Music is a meticulously crafted program designed for ambitious music enthusiasts. We provide structured schedules and comprehensive course content that incorporates both theoretical and practical components. The course runs with a weekly attendance of three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), amounting to 12 sessions per month.

Our unique credit-based system offers a total of 1200 credits, divided among various course components.

Course Schedule and Structure

1st Semester: From 01st July to December 15th, encompassing 66 sessions.
2nd Semester: From 01st January to June 15th, consisting of 66 sessions.

 

Course Components

1. MusicaMaths (Western Music Theory): This includes Grades 1 to 5 (Pre-Foundation) and Grade 6 to 10 (Foundation).
2. Instrumental – Piano: Debut 1, Debut 2, Grade 1, and Grade 2.
3. Instrumental – Keyboard: Debut 1, Debut 2, Grade 1, and Grade 2.
4. Technology in Music: Basics of Musescore.

Credit-Based Evaluation System

Our unique credit-based system offers a total of 1200 credits, divided among various course components. Your credit accumulation will determine your result, as follows:

Less than 840 Credits: Fail (Less than 70%)

840 to 960 Credits: Pass (70% to 79.99%)
960 to 1080 Credits: Merit (80% to 89.99%)
1080 to 1200 Credits: Distinction (90% and above)
